Those eligible for this registration price must have participated in the 2010 Reason2Smile Trail Run and still have their red t-shirt from that run. This $10 fee includes a pre-run dinner (on September 16th) as well as participation in this year's trail run. This year's Reason2Smile Trail Run will take place on September 17th at Paul Smith's College Visitor's Interpretive Center (VIC).  Participants are asked to arrive at the VIC between 8am and 10am that day to begin their 10K run/walk.  All ages are encouraged to participate however those younger than 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.  As listed above, general registration will be $25 and cover the cost of your t-shirt, pre-run dinner, and participation in the race.  If you participated in last year's Reason2Smile Trail Run and still have your red trail run t-shirt you may choose to pay the $10 registration option.


Each participant will be required to fundraise a minimum of $50 which will directly benefit Jambo Jipya School in Mtwapa, Kenya (check out the video on the right or visit our website for more information www.reason2smile.org).  Sponsor money may be collected in cash, check (made payable to "Reason2Smile Inc." with "Trail Run" and participant's name on the memo line, and given to the participant to turn in or mailed to: Reason2Smile Inc / 151 Hillcrest Ave. / Lake Placid, NY 12946), or via this site (click on a donation amount and then click "Tribute" - make the donation in honor of someone).

 

The pre-run dinner will take place on Friday September 16th at the Adirondack Community Church (main street - across from the Post Office - in Lake Placid) at 6pm.  It will include a meal of pasta, bread, and salad.  Any cash/check registration fees and sponsorship money will be collected then.  T-shirts will be handed out that evening and all details for the run/walk will be reviewed.  The cost of the dinner is included in the registration fee.  Please RSVP when registering via this site or by emailing keela@reason2smile.org.
